Currently – January 2018
Anne at In Residence is sharing today what she’s CURRENTLY starting, hoping, scheduling, reading, and playing. Me? Here are MY answers!
Starting: exercising. I’m really going to do it this time. Really. *sigh*
Hoping: for snow! Yes, I live near Savannah, Georgia, and yes, you read that right! We are having the oddest weather situation today! Temperatures are super low for this area (the predicted high is only 33 degrees Fahrenheit), and rain is moving in from the Atlantic. Predictions are for 1-3 inches of snow!!! We’ll see what happens!
Update: SNOW!!! In Coastal Georgia!!!
Scheduling: coffee dates with friends. This is something I worked on last summer and autumn, being more intentional about meeting up with friends. I got a little lazy over the holidays, but I’m getting back on track!
Reading: books from my 2018 Reading Challenge list! See the categories and list here, and then give me YOUR recommendations! I need your help!
Playing: episodes of Victoria (starting Season 1 tonight) and the album The Christmas Collection by Jamie Grace. Still. Even after Christmas. Yes.
Thanks for stopping by! What are you CURRENTLY up to???

Did you get your snow?! Otherwise you can have some of ours… it’s been 1-3 (or sometimes 5) inches every day for the last 2 weeks straight. Time to get the shovel back out again to be able to leave my driveway, in fact.
I could do much better on being intentional about time with friends too – thanks for the inspiration 🙂 And going to check out your book list now. I loooooove book lists!
We’re accumulating ice at the moment, but they’re now saying we might get up to SIX inches of snow! I live near the coast of Georgia! We don’t do snow or ice here! No salted roads or anything like that! It’s a big mess today! (I know that sounds pitiful to all of you in the North, but it’s true!)
And BOOKS! YES!!! Let me know if you can help fill in the gaps on my list!
So excited to read that you may get some snow. This season’s weather has been so unpredictable. We are having record highs followed by record lows. Today is a low day so I am still in bed. Love the snow on your blog, btw.
Left a book suggestion for you on the post linked above. Yay for coffee with friends, and starting to exercise again. Me, too. At least I did yesterday!
Happy new year!
Snow is falling thick and fast!!! So exciting! I’ll exercise tomorrow!
We are going to need pictures…of the snow and the exercise. Big hugs!!
I just added some snow photos! It’s supposed to keep snowing for hours yet, but this is what we have for now! Exercise photos?!? Surely you jest!
Oh, my goodness. At this rate, coastal Georgia will get a few inches. So peaceful, so tranquil. Thank you for sharing. I am almost as excited as you. XO
Yay for now! I’m with you – I want some snow too. Granted, it’s really cold where I live, so it might as well be pretty right?
Good luck with you reading challenge! For a book of poetry, I recommend The Princess Saves Herself In This One by Amanda Lovelace. I’m reading and loving it now.

If you’re going to be cold, YES, you might as well have snow too! Definitely! Thanks for the poetry book recommendation! I really appreciate it!
Oh, I hope you got your snow! We’ve had some funky weather here too (Texas), and I was hoping for a late start to school this morning… But no. 🙂
We did! We did! I added a couple of pictures for you guys to prove it! LOL! Bummer about not getting the late start. Everything here canceled into tomorrow because of all the icy roads. Thanks for stopping by!
