You know how you hear about a place, and you scope it out online, and you wonder if the real thing looks anywhere near as gorgeous as it does online? Yeah? Well, THIS place delivered!We recently heard about George L. Smith State Park and decided to check it out this weekend. On Sunday we loaded up the kayaks and a picnic, went to the early service at church, and then headed out on our adventure.
Today was a GORGEOUS 76-degree morning, so Gene and I loaded up the kayaks and headed to King’s Ferry Landing on the Ogeechee River. We love being out on the water! It’s both relaxing AND a great workout. Multi-tasking at its best, I say!
