Springtime Adventure List – Final Update
Spring is over, and I promised you a final update on my Springtime Adventure List!
•Go camping at least two times. DONE! We ended up camping three times. The third trip was to the Asheville/Hendersonville, North Carolina area, and it ended sooner than planned due to flash flood warnings. I’m looking forward to telling you about that trip! We did a lot in a little time!
•Organize the laundry room. Nope. This one never did happen. I’ll get to it eventually. Right?
•Have a picnic in Forsyth Park in Savannah. Nope. This one ALSO did not happen! Bummer! I had planned to do a picnic while hiking near Asheville instead of at Forsyth Park, but we had to break camp before doing any hiking.
•Continue meeting up with friends IRL. DONE!
•Write at least two letters each month. Nope. But I’m going to try yet again over the summer!
•Do the GYPO Spring Style Challenge. DONE! And enjoying the Summer Style Challenge as we speak! I’ll share some of those outfits with you next Thursday.
•Go to the beach at least two times. Halfway Done! I had plans to go again earlier this week, but the heat has gotten out of control! We’ve had heat advisories every afternoon.
•Read at least two books for Modern Mrs. Darcy’s Reading Challenge. DONE! I plan to share what I’ve been reading lately in the next few days.
•Go kayaking. DONE! The weather finally cooperated, and we spent a nice morning on the Ogeechee River near Savannah. It was lovely! My husband spotted five alligators! LOL! We leave them alone, and they return the favor!
•Work travel. DONE! I worked homeschool conventions at Rochester, MN and Richmond, VA. In the next four weeks I’ll be working homeschool conventions at Pasadena, CA; Phoenix, AZ; and St. Charles, MO. I love what I do!

I vote for leaving the laundry room until the weather outside isn’t inviting. And as for the letter-writing, send post cards from some of your adventures. You can make them from your own photos!!! Like that gorgeous kayaking one above. And you look especially lovely in your Sonlight picture. Great lip colors.
Thanks for stopping by, Leslie! Yes, summertime is the perfect time to take care or indoor projects like my laundry room. I’ll tackle it soon. Thanks for the kind words and suggestions!
