This is my favorite monthly link-up! Here we go!
I am currently:
Celebrating: our son’s graduation from Tech School. He began his career in the US Air Force in November, graduated from Basic Military Training on Christmas Eve, and has now completed Tech School. That’s where he learned the basics of aircraft maintenance for the amazing F-22. What a plane! He loves his job, and we’re thrilled for him!

Oh! And my husband and I will celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary later this month! Praise God!
Reading: The Cruelest Month, Book 3 of the Inspector Gamache Series by Louise Penny. I accidentally started with Book 8 of the series, read from there through the end of the series, and then looped back to the beginning to read all the books in order. While this particular book isn’t my favorite (as of right now), I really, really like this series. More on that another day!
I also just finished listening to Ready Player One. I’m still not sure if that counts as reading, but I thought I’d mention it anyway!
Pondering: SO many things! Parenting adult children. Fiddler on the Roof. Future blog posts. Healthy eating and exercise choices. When I’m finally going to make bacon jam. When and where we’re going camping and/or kayaking. #busybrain
Sipping: sweet tea. Always. But it’s sweetened with stevia, so it’s all good!
Going: back to the beach as soon as possible! I was able to get some beach time in last weekend when we went to Florida to visit our son, and I can’t wait to go again. Hilton Head, here I come! (Or maybe Tybee island. We’ll see!)
Now it’s YOUR turn! What are you currently celebrating, reading pondering, sipping, and going? Chime in by commenting below!
Don’t forget to check out Anne and Jenna, the two lovely hostesses of this link up! They’re always up to something fun!

Congrats on your son’s graduation…! What an accomplishment!! And thank you to him! I recently dated a Navy guy so I can appreciate all of their hard work and their sacrifices. Hope you make it to the beach asap!! 😉
Thank you so much! I’ll relay your thanks to him! Ahhhh, the beach! I have my new beach chair and umbrella ready to toss in the car!
Oh I love that Inspector Gamache series! It’s been a while since I picked one up, so I bet there are some newer releases that I still need to read… which would be perfect for the beach. Wish I could get there sooner than June. Thanks for the linkup love – we love doing this every month!
Catching up on your blog…
I’m currently celebrating Timothy’s graduation (today!), reading The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap (I’m waiting for the first book of Inspector Gamasch series!), pondering what next year will be like with only one left at home and she’ll be driving(!), sipping water, and going crazy? No…getting ready for a two week trip to NC and VA partly for work and partly for fun!

Thanks for following my blog and commenting, Sheila! I pray that all goes well for Timothy’s big day and for your prepping for the big trip. I’m looking forward to catching up with you in VA! I’m going to have to look at that Big Stone Gap book. I’m not sure if I’ve read it or not. I hope you enjoy the Gamasch books. I WILL warn you that the author uses one word that I DO NOT like at all, and it pops up with some regularity. I’m dealing with it because everything else is SO good. Also, the first book is good, but the writing and the story line get better and better throughout the series.
