Last night we went with some good friends to see our first Savannah Bananas baseball game and had a blast! I’m not really a fan of baseball, but I rapidly became a Bananas fan! Some days you just HAVE to get out of the kitchen!  Am I right?  Of course right!  Today we ALL get a kitchen pass (in the sweet sense of the word, not a “you’ll pay for this later” sense)! Today we’re heading to The Red Eyed Mule in Marietta, Georgia.  Squeeze in tight!  This building is an old gas station, and there are only 9 tables!

You know how you hear about a place, and you scope it out online, and you wonder if the real thing looks anywhere near as gorgeous as it does online?  Yeah?  Well, THIS place delivered!We recently heard about George L. Smith State Park and decided to check it out this weekend.  On Sunday we loaded up the kayaks and a picnic, went to the early service at church, and then headed out on our adventure.
