It’s time for the June edition of Currently! I am currently…
Toasting: my son, a new Airman in the United States Air Force. He rocked Basic Military Training (Honor Graduate, y’all!) and Technical School and is now at his first assignment…in Alaska! I’m SO excited for him!
Going: to Biltmore House near Asheville, North Carolina. My husband and I are retreating to the mountains in search of cooler weather. We’ll be camping again and looking forward to some good hiking as well as learning all about Biltmore.
Smelling: sunscreen lotion. Is that just summertime in a bottle or what!
Wearing: my new Clark’s wedges that I wishlisted back in April. They are every bit as perfect as I knew they would be!
Wishlisting: rain boots. Tis the season for afternoon thunderstorms here in Coastal Georgia, so I’m looking for JUST the right pair of wellies. I’m eyeing these Slogger brand boots since I hear they might work well with my wide calves.

I am currently sitting in an airport devouring all the data I can before having to go dark on the flight to Italy. But I have an audio book, a kindle book and several real books to keep me company so I’ll live. Love the shoes! Does Ethan post pics on social media? I want to follow his time in AK!

Yes! We DO plan to go up there and see him! He’s been there less than a day and is already talking about how beautiful it is! Thanks for hosting Currently! I look forward to it every month.

I have so much trouble finding comment forms on some blogs. I had to refresh and refresh to find it here. Something about my laptop or the operator! Anyway, I hope your time at Biltmore was refreshing. I have always wanted to go. How is your son? Are you making plans for a trip to Alaska in the near future? Love the rain boots. I’m sorry you had so much trouble finding the comment section! Bless your heart for sticking with it and finding a way! Biltmore really was lovely! Much better than we expected! Our son is a happy guy; he’s loving Alaska so far! We’re not sure when we’ll get up there. We’re trying to give him space for now!
Just as a help, I think with WordPress blogs like mine you may need to click on the title of the post to be able to see the comment section and be able to post a comment. I don’t think you can see it from the home page. I don’t know why they designed it that way. 🙁
