These days I am currently…

Planning:  Meals.  Well, I’m trying to!  I want to.  It needs to happen.  Planning trips is WAY more fun than planning meals.

Enjoying:  Catching up with long-time friends who just moved here to the Savannah area.  We met and became good friends when we lived near Ramstein Air Base, Germany right after Gene and I got married.  They (and we) have since lived all over the world, and now God has brought us to the same city!  We’ve not seen each other for about 23 years, so we have a LOT of catching up to do!

Buying:  Real Salt. I placed an order today because I’m nearly out! I love this stuff!

Craving:  Waffles and/or pancakes with fresh berries and whipped cream.  We had these on our camping trip last weekend (more on that soon), and now I want them every day!

Pinning:  A great new recipe!  Harvest Chicken Skillet.  I made it for dinner tonight, and my daughter and I both loved it.  (The hubby was at work, so he may try the leftovers tomorrow.) The prep for this is a bit time consuming, but you have time to do the prep as you go along. That’s a better use of time than prepping it all before you begin. Ask me how I know!  (For all you Trim Healthy Mamas out there, I’m thinking this is a solid E or at worst a really yummy Crossover.)

I’m linking up today with Anne at In Residence and Jenna at  Gold & Bloom, so be sure to check them out!

Let me know what YOU are currently planning, enjoying, buying, craving, and pinning in the comments below!  I’d love for you to chime in!

  1. Haha I’m with you on that planning. But the pancakes and that new recipe both sound like winners… maybe will just slot those into my meal plans 🙂 Thanks for linking up!

  2. Planning meals is on my to-do list as well! My husband and I have plans of planning out a few week’s worth of meals while I’m on summer break so we don’t eat out for every meal like we have been doing for the last week–eek!
